Hello everyone! It's hard to believe that we're almost 1/2 way through July already! Thankfully, we're enjoying summer as much as possible around here! (Even when it entails weeding, painting or any other home improvement project!)
This weekend was a whirlwind, to say the least! Matt took on our most dangerous job thus far around the house: removing/painting and reinstalling our shutters! It was a bit more labor intensive than originally expected; but Matt was a machine and managed to finish the entire project in 1 day! He also painted our front door, which turned out amazing!
While Matt was working so hard, Aunt Megan and I took the kids to a toddler concert in downtown Hudson! It was awesome! We had dinner beforehand (which was comical; Megan got to witness firsthand the tornado which is that of the Feaster children! Lets just say the poor restaurant staff had some serious cleaning up to do after we left!), then Mason and Gabbie just loved the music the band was playing (the songs included themes about sharing, brushing your teeth, etc!), and there were even some animals for the kids to see (Gabbie particularly loved the "biiiig turtle!" and "Scaaary snake!") It was a perfect summer night, complete with perfect summer weather!
As Gabbie says, "Two naaaakey babies!" on their way to the bath!
Prettiest girl!
