Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!! Well, 2011 will surely be a year we never forget :P Starting Christmas Eve, a terrible flu single handedly took down every member of our Feaster household! (and quite a few Bergmooser's and Davis' as well!) Thankfully, however, we were able to spend some great, quality time w/ family and friends before the plague struck!

The kids and Matt and I received some awesome presents (a dancing/singing Elmo, Gabbie's 1st pair of ballet shoes, a so-real-life-it-kinda-freaks-you-out cat, a new timer and lens for my camera [wahoo!!! Sorry, the person writing the blog gets to be partial!], tools, a sled, cars and racetracks, doll shopping carts, barbies, the list goes on and on, but you get the idea! It was awesome!!)

I'm happy to say we're all feeling better (knock on wood!!) and praying that 2012 will be as great to us as 2011 was!! We are truly blessed and can't wait to see what else God has in store for our family :)

Feaster Christmas!

I can't believe it's less than a WEEK until Christmas! Where has this year gone? Everyone tells you that having kids will make time go fast, but this is getting ridiculous! Mason is almost a year and a half old, and Gabrielle will be THREE in less than 3 months!

Well before I get any sadder thinking about how fast the babies are growing up, I'll talk about our super fun weekend :)

Saturday we went over to UB and Aunt Kim's to have a "week before Christmas, Christmas party"...with ourselves! We had Christmas music playing, ate some great food and cookies, it was a lot of fun! Matt, however, had a little too much fun (or shall I say WINE) and proceeded to drop polar bear and his blankie (you know, Gabbie's best friend that she refuses to go anywhere without) in UB's driveway when we were leaving! Needless to say, I had to return back to their house before Gabbie would go to sleep for the night! (Thank goodness we live so close now!)

Then on Sunday, we had Feaster Christmas! It was amazing to see everyone again, especially Matt's Dad and Stepmom! The kids had the BEST time there, especially with their new toys from Grandpa and Grandma Feaster! The funniest moment though might have been when Mason squished some turkey meat on their window! haha! Welcome to life w/ the Feaster grandbabies, right?!!

Now we're off to Michigan for the week! Merry Christmas everyone!!! xox

Ruuuunning at the library (Is Mason even capable of walking?)
She had a whole table of books to read :)

Headed out for dinner in East Lansing :)
Gabbie opening her Christmas presents from Mama's friends, Suzy & Lesley!

Alex's Graduation!

So it's official; every Bergmooser child has graduated college :) We had a great time in East Lansing this past weekend, and are so proud of Alex! Michigan State's campus was beautiful! Cold, but beautiful!! Gabbie and Mason had a great time w/ Nana and Papa too! They were able to see Santa at the Harley Shop (or "Papa's store", as Gabbie refers to it!) and then visit w/ Great Nana and Great Papa later that day too!

Now Matt is back on the road this week, but we're really looking forward to Feaster Christmas this Sunday, then the kids and I are headed to Monroe on Monday :) I can't believe it's almost Christmas! We can only hope 2012 brings us as many blessings as 2011 has!

Couple Pictures :)

I apologize for not putting too many pictures on the blog; but I save my pictures in such a large format that they take foreeever to load :P And even though we all know I just sit around doing nothing all day (ha!) I don't have time for that :)

Feaster family update!

Oh my gosh, I didn't realize how long it's been since I updated the blog! Since the last post back in October, we've had a few holidays...catastrophes...a vacation...you know, the usual!

Let's try to recap the last month and a half! Halloween was a huge hit this year! Unfortunately Dada was traveling for the actual Trick or Treating, but Nana and Papa stepped in to help :) The weekend before we took the kids trick or treating in downtown Hudson; it was adorable! Mason was the cutest lion ever, and Gabbie was a show stopper in her Belle princess gown! Trick or Treating went well too! Everyone in our neighborhood was so friendly, and there were millions of 5 and under trick or treaters like us! (Okay I may be exaggerating slightly, but there were a LOT of toddlers on the loose!) Gabbie barely made it around the cul de sac (she just wanted to "go home and see Papa" [who was passing out candy for us!]) but we had a great time! (Oh I almost forgot, Gabrielle was a cow and Mace as a monkey!)

The next event (excuse me while I try to muster up the courage to talk about it!) was Mason's super scary "febrile seizure" at Great Nana and Papa's house :( That was the worst experience of our lives; thus far! Thankfully we were with fast thinking, loving family members to help us get through it! Needless to say, we will never, ever treat fevers lightly around this house again!

And then came mid-November...Mama and Dada's mini-vacation! (Which after Mason's incident a couple weeks before, was extremely welcomed!)  Arizona was beautiful, and just what we needed to relax and regroup before the busy holiday season arrived!

Thanksgiving was just perfect this year! Nana and Papa Davis made a "scrumptious feast" (as Gabbie would say!) and it was a great day w/ lots of family! PLUS, to add a little icing on the cake, we found out Gabbie and Mason would be getting a new cousin, come July! We can't wait for baby Feaster to arrive!

Last weekend we did a perfect "kick off to the holidays" w/ a breakfast w/ Santa! It was awesome! He came to each table to talk to the kids, then they got to sit on his lap and receive a special little present :) Gabbie was amazed by him, Mason slightly scared, but overall it was a perfect morning! We'll definitely make it a yearly thing!

As for the kids, nothing too new w/ them? Mason still refuses to talk (his sister does too much for the both of them I guess!) He has a few new signs he's mastered, which is good (his favorite is "more" right now...as in more food...imagine that!) Gabrielle has upgraded to her new big girl twin bed (thanks Uncle Brad and Aunt Kim Mitcheltree!) and she loves it! She is still the smartest, funniest, 2 year old we've ever met! People are continually amazed at how well she can talk; she amazes us with what she knows each and everyday! (Especially me, considering i'm the only one around her most of the time; I'm always saying "Where in the world did you learn that?" Thank you Nick Jr. I guess? haha)

We're really looking forward to the Christmas season now, and can't wait to spend some time w/ family (especially baby Landon! We miss him so much!) and to really appreciate our tiny family for all that it is! The kids are growing so fast and we just want to soak in as much of this crazy time of our life as possible!

Love you all! Happy Holidays!
